Tax Credit Donations

Basketball families and friends,

With your support we can build a great program and you can turn your donation dollars into a tax credit for your 2025 filing. It’s a win, win situation for all involved!
Investing in our basketball program will help provide the resources they need to be successful. Your donation will enable us to provide necessary resources for things like training, equipment, uniforms, and facility improvements.

How does the tax credit work? A tax credit is NOT a donation! It is a dollar-for-dollar reduction in the Arizona state income tax you pay. If your tax credit contribution is more than the amount of state tax you owe, the credit can be carried forward for up to five years. Receiving this tax credit will allow you to reduce the amount you owe the state or increase your refund. When filing your income tax return for the State of Arizona, the amount you designated to your school will be the amount you may claim as a state tax credit. This payment is eligible for Arizona state income tax credit as allowed by A.R.S. §43-1089.01. Tax credit contributions are non-refundable. Married taxpayers can donate $400, and individuals can donate $200 to the school program of your choice.
If you choose the DM Boys Basketball for your tax credit, your regular season Booster Dues will be reduced and you receive this tax credit.

Reduce your Booster fees! Parents/Guardians donating their tax credit to DMHS Boys Basketball will be able to reduce their $450 Booster fee by $100 for every $200 donated (a married contribution of $400 tax credit will reduce fees by $200 and a single $200 contribution will reduce fees by $100). For every additional tax credit contribution you bring to the program you will receive an additional $25 off your booster fees up to 4 additional donors or $100 credit max. In a nutshell you can reduce your Booster fees all the way down to $150.
To receive your credit on fees please email a copy or picture of the receipt to Tricia Laches at tricialaches@gmail.com. Without an email and receipt, we will not be able to credit your account.
